The nav/strobe power Molex socket connector is snapped into a fenestration on the outboard spar. Turns out the fenestra on my spar are too big so the connector just slides on through. I've now seen six -14 spars and they are all the same. Since I had become so familiar with tank sealant, why not seal these bad boys in place? I actually completed this step on 16-Sep-13.

Here is the back side of the nav light on the left wing tip. The crimping and soldering (I always solder every crimp) was done on 16-Dec-13.
